Ok.. uh.. so what had happened was... well---
I am just not feeling the do what you need to do thing right now but we do't get a choice. I have to live this every day. Forever. Period.
Yesterday calories in check well below maintenance at about 1200. However, 700 of those was in junk food. I got perhaps half my protein requirement which is just a third of my daily protein goal.
Everything else was on point except my workout was cancelled with good reason.
Consistency folks. I had plenty of calories available to add a couple scoops of protein. I should have at least met my base requirement if not my personal goal. Making it ok to skip the protein will get me into trouble over the long haul.
I am just not feeling the do what you need to do thing right now but we do't get a choice. I have to live this every day. Forever. Period.

I did great this morning - hit the gym at 5 - did 25 min cardio. That's the longest I've EVER done. I'm working on interval training, so I do 2-3min at 4.7mph, then 1-2min at 3.7mph. I want to work up to 5/1 for that length of time.......
I'll have to put in some kettlebell time this weekend, with the extended cardio, I have been too tired/lazy to hit the weights hard, and I need to pay my pennance.......

I have exercised every week day this week and I proud of that and most days eating was OK, not great by any means. I have afraid to get on the scale this Monday. My goal is too stay on track this weekend. Protein, protein and more protein. I really did not think it would be this hard to eliminate the carbs but it is. I love protein but I like the carbs too.
So I have to find a way to eliminate those nasty carbs. So I am going to keep on keeping on. At work yesterday I gave my department ice cream bars and sandwiches I had brought for me to snack on. I got rid of all my carb snacks so Monday I am on a mission. It makes no sense for me not to be losing weight will all this exercise I am doing.
One thing I can say is I am not gaining any weight but I am not losing either. So I guess on that note the exercise is keeping the pounds away.
I know the problem so now on to eliminating it. I can not give up this fight. I can't afford to. So I keep praying and keeping in mind my 3 P's. Perseverance, Patience, and Positive.
