I am looking for great new fresh fragrances, not too hard, I used to be a fan of Red Door by Elizabeth Arden, also I like Chanel and I have a dresser full of new stuff that I have no idea what it is, I got most for Christmas presents.

What's your favorite perfume?

I love a couple of the old world fragrances.

4711 - A fragrance based on orange blossom (you won't smell like fruit, I promise).  Available at better perfume sellers and online.  Its an old fragrance of my mother's generation.  (That generation is in their 80's now.)

L'air Du Temps - A fragrance based on carnation.  This was popular in the early 1980's.

Both are light and simple.  I'm alergic to a lot of scents but I can wear these two.  You can also get the pure generic base fragrances of orange blossom and carnation.  They are not identical but they are similar to the perfumes.

These older scents are now considered unique or exotic.  For sure you will not smell like everyone else.

I guess I'm an old-schooler who likes the more femimine scents.  I'm a Chanel fan, No.5 and Coco.

Yep you are like me a Chanel No 5 fan...every bottle I have on my dresser is empty....it's expensive but worth it.
