I hear ya.  Ain't nothing like knowing you're going to mess yourself but yet ya trudge forward without fear anyway.

I was talking to my boy who's a truck driver about my tale of woe and he said;  "The worst is when ya know you're trying to drive an 18-wheeler over a frozen lake because you've seen other people do it, but up until you feel yourself actually falling through the ice and hear the cold water rushing in through the vents ya repeatedly reassured yourself, "I can make it this time."

OMG! 5/1/10 was my lil cousins bday and she wanted to go out. I didnt but against my better judgment I went out anyway. Well I tried my best to look cute since I had lost about 70 lbs and thought I was ready for 4 inch platform heels. Well I slipped and feel and fractured my f*cking ankle. I just got out of the boot  at the end of last month and is now sporting a bulky black ankle brace. So much for looking cute. I've been looking disabled for the last 2 mos and it still hurts but it is getting better and I'm trying to get my groove back. LOL.

Wow!  So you were trying to go out-out in a pair of 4 inch platform heels?   Sheeesh....  I knew you ladies loved shoes but dang.  Sorry to hear about your ankle but I guess I'm also thankful that I didn't fracture my toe.  I'd look crazy trying to wear some 4 inch Timberlands.

So let me see if I got this one straight...  what started out to be a simple nail clipping ended up looking like a crime scene on Law & Order?  Gotcha.  Yeah those little things can be nasty business sometimes.  Thankfully, you didn't end up hobbling around like ****e Kinte did when Massa and his boys caught him trying to run away for the last time.
