OT: Tyler Perry's latest play
Anybody going to see this if it's coming to your town?
It's coming to H-town, to a venue I like to frequent - but ummm - I looked up ticket prices and ummmm.......
when Beyonce played the same venue, I paid $150 for a ticket just up from the floor, and that included next day Fed ex delivery.....
I just priced a ticket to TP's play - $116.00!!!!!!! just off the floor and will call!!!!
WTF? last time I went to this negrow's play, it cost me about $65 WITH parking AND a souvenir playbill INCLUDED........
*grumblin* this mofo is outpricing his dayum audience - either that, or he needs to stop making fun of light skinned, well to do Black folk...... I'm just sayin........

You already know how I feel about buying tickets to anything. I saw his play here a couple of months ago and loved it. However my philosphy is if I can't win it on the radio I ain't going. The great thing about free schitt is you're never dissapointed.
Flying out on Friday to the Essence Festival.. Thanks to the radio station and Coca Cola for sponsoring me anc my hubby.

I always buy tickets to shyt - BUT - there is a limit to what i will pay to see. Concerts? Only Prince and Beyonce have seen my $$. Went to Essence twice in life. Been to TP's plays twice - but this one looks like Imma be a no-show. $116 is just TOO FREAKIN MUCH. Sure - there are cheaper tickets, but I have a thing about where I prefer to sit......
I was surfing the net looking for things to go see later this year - I am MAD the 'Rock the Bells' tour ain't coming to Texas - I would have gone TO Dallas for that one!
