Tired of being told--You don't need surgery...you ain't that big!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello BAF,

I am scheduled for surgery in two days and I am so tired of my family and friend telling me "You don't need surgery..you ain't that big" It just makes me want to scream!!!!!!!  I have lost young family members to this weight epidemic and I am tire of people judging and trying to choose my size.  I am so excited about surgery and I have really worked hard during the last 8 months. I have lost 38lb. on my own, now people are trying to say you can do this on your own, you don't need surgery.

you azz is so big, can't no doctor cut you from fat to fine.

 The days before surgery can be very stressful but you'll be ok. 

You have to be doing this for yourself!!!  This is your life,

your journey.  Some of the people in your life are truly concerned (because of

fear and mis-information) and some want you to stay in the box you're

in now .... the fat friend ...... the fat girl with the pretty face ..... the

fat happy, joking girl.... etc.  Need I go on?  Hang in there for these

2 days and try to talk only to those *****spect and support your decisions.

Keep us posted .... we'll be waiting for you on the loser's bench.

That's exactly why I just DID it told no one prayed on it and did it OMG I know just what u going thru LOL WOW!!

Hi Bridget!  I know exactly how you feel.  I weighed 237 on the day of my surgery.  Everybody kept saying that I didn't need the surgery, but I WAS NOT comfortable with my weight and that's all that mattered.

Don't worry girl, somebody will ALWAYS have something to say.  Be confident in the decision that you made to have surgery

1st congrats on your big day! 2nd people always gonna find something to talk about They gonna talk about u when you big, and they gonna talk about u when you get thin. U need to get used to it, and try to learn to not allow peoples comments to get the best of u. I know its hard, and it hurts because all your looking for is support but at the end of it all u need to do what makes u happy. Bump what every one else thinks and says, they aint in your skin and will never b you so there opinion dont count!

You and I share the same surgeon.  I just wanted to tell you don't listen to them and that #1 Mack Mama is too funny with her comments and she is the resident comedian and know for telling you like it is...LOL!
