Post-ops who have gained, but are taking it back off!
Yes, we can!!! I am going to sign on with you for the challenge of 10 lbs by the end of July. I'm going to work my a$$ & celebrate when it happens.
BTW, how do you mix protein in with your coffee? Whenever I try to add protein to a drink cold or hot it doesn't dissolve.
Thanks,
Deb

Monday is my "official" weigh-in day. As of yesterday I'd lost half of my excess 5 pounds.
DISCLAIMER: What I'm doing works for me. I'm not recommending that anyone else do what I do.
Here's the thing: I understand how my mind works. If I push myself to do something that I really don't want to do, it won't last long term and I will eventually fail. I've had to re-examine my previous plan.
My conclusion: Extreme measures are not the answer for me.
I also had to decide what I would (realistically) be willing to do for life and then revise my strategy. I'm losing this weight in the least painful way possible.
- I stopped pushing the volume limits of my pouch.
- I'm drinking more fluids between meals and refraining from drinking with my meals.
- I stopped grazing.
- I have not deprived myself of any food that I like.
For my dinner yesterday evening, I ate key lime pie with strawberries and full fat whipped cream. When my pouch was full, I stopped eating. I thoroughly enjoyed it and this morning I was down another half pound. Go figure...
The tool works and that's what I'm using to lose this excess weight. I will follow pouch rules most of the time and still allow myself some leeway for treats.
I haven't been exercising, so I'm not losing the weight fast. It's coming off at a slow and steady pace. Since I don't have that much left to lose, I can live with that.
I hate exercise and I ain't going to no gym. There, I said it.
