CONFESSION...

I used to love dark liquer pre-op but now it's Vodka all the way.
I'm doing my best to stay away from the stuff but it gets hard sometimes. LOL

Okay...newbie here...AND I haven't had my surgery yet...so somebody tell me why we are backing away from the vodka and patron???  Is it the empty calaries...or what?? 

its the empty calories, the possible liver damage because after RNY the liver is stressed trying to filter liquor and protein, the intense- quick high, its the possibility of addiction transfer, the difficulty to loose weight while drinking...just to name a few...
