Is protein shakes a must to lose weight????
i shopped around for protien drinks until i found one i liked...i'd say protien shake are the "easiest" way to get protien in, but the idea is to get lean protien from whatever source u can...being almost six yrs out, i get most of my protien from fish, chicken, turkey and the occasional red meat...i still do shakes though on occasion, but i need to up it as im getting a bit pudgy and need to increase my protien...

They are not a "must" and I very seldom use them now. I feel that we have issues with food so we have to learn better food habits/choices so have lean protein first. It keeps you fuller longer and satisfied better then shakes. Protein is not just limited to meat, it can be dairy products, some nuts, some beans, ect.
EVERYBODY is different. I have loss 200 lbs without them. I am allergic to whey and soy so I had to get my protein from my food. It is trail and error. Try different ones...might be a little expensive in the beginning until you find what works.....good luck
