Adipex (Phentermine) After Weight Loss Surgery
I'm 5yrs out and I was on phentermine summer of 08, I lost 30 pds after taking them for 3 1/2 mths. I took 1/2 a pill because it made my mouth very dry,but the benefit to that is it made me want to drink alot of water. I walked 30-45 mins a day because it gave me the energy I was lacking being post-op.
Now the downside is that these pills are what you call short term stimulants. It will only work for a short period of time then your body gets use the medication. Google the medication and you will find tons of articles on it. Most importantly, as soon as you revert back to your old eating habits you will gain the weight back.
My advice would be to try it and go hard with the water and excersie because the beginning is when you'll get the best results. Try as hard as you can to stick with your new eating habits once you are no longer taking the pills. I was able to keep the weight off for 6mths but then I started with the bad eating habits again and gained the 30pds back.
hope this info helps.
