Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

Tell the whole truth and be accountable. Its WEDNESDAY folks.  We're at the hump for the work week.  How are you doing so far?  Is your plan on track?  You know what you need to do so are you doing to do it?

Keep the basics in mind.  Protein first.  Water, sip, sip, sip.  No drinking while eating, let fullness sink in.  Vitamins and supplements, take them.  Excercise, get moving.  Beware of the carb monster if he is your nemisis.  We will do this!

I am not on track this week.  Fatigue has kept me out of the gym but my eating has recoverred from this weekend's escapades.  I am not feeling the water so I only got 60 oz of liquids in yesterday.

I'm working on doing betterr today.  Still swollen with piting edema.  Time to take a diuretic and sip sip sip to flush this stuff out.  I will get some exerise in today even if its just 30 minutes.

The good news is I have zipped and buttoned my 'GOAL' pants.  I need to trim the thighs before I can wear them and look presentable.  When they fit well I am done with weight loss.  Also good, my vits are on point and the carb monster does not know where to find me. Almost there!

Congrats on zipping up goal pants!!!   I am recovering from a disastrous weekend also.  Glad to report back in the saddle this week!  Have good rest of the week!  I am off to a convention this weekend and it ususally does not present any eating challenges because we take our lunches!

Thanks.  I try them on every morning as my constant reminder.  Now if I could just get my head together...

We are on the same page...Fatigue  has come over me in an awful way I can't shake it sleep does not make me feel better (iron may be low???).........but my eating has recovered from this weekends escapades.

I entertained a few out of town guests for the past four days. One was a very very good old friend that I lost touch with years ago.  She was always my tiny girlfriend she wore a size 4 even after having a baby  but the years have packed on the pounds she is an amazing size 20 now.  When I looked at her I just responded like you do when you see an ugly baby....... ohhhhhhhhhhhhh a baby. I was shocked,  I said all that to say that she made very poor food choices and I followed her down the poor food choice path..............  I have recovered and am following my rules this week. :)

CONGRATS on buttoning those goal pants
oh what a wonderful feeling!  The thighs oh the thighs.  When MM posted yesterday about purchasing a bathing suit  (by the way she is going to look great  with all of the exercise she does!!!!!!!!!) I wonder if I will ever be able to wear one again my thighs look like jello with grapes in it LOL.  not to mention my arms.  I need to wear a full body armor. Any who I'm in hunt for a goal pair of pants or outfit in a size 8 oh how sweet that will be.

Last week my surgeon said my desired goal weight of 125-130 is unrealistic.  He said I should settle on 140-145 (that would put me very close to goal I'm currently 149)  I'm only 5'0''s tall!! I don't think my desired goal is too low....so I will forge ahead.  I'm less concerned about weight than clothing size when I fit into a size 8 comfortably I think I will be done and ready to maintain.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

I say go for it if its what you want.   When you get there you can always add a few pounds if you feel you are too thin.  I wanted 131-135 lbs as my goal.  My current goal weight is 140 lbs.  I'm a little taller than you are so maybe we are both a little off the wall in our expectations.

I used the goal pants as a guide because I think under 140 lbs may be too thin.  My desired weight is 14 lbs away and my goal pants are small enough.  Just like you know a size 8 is small enough for you.

You will get there!

Even though things may not be perfect you sound

like you are doing so well, I wish my report was as good

as yours but I will get there.

My plan for today is to get in:

72 oz water
1 hour swimming
all vites

And to check out an online OA meeting

We both will get there!  I need to hit OA online myself.  This is the longest I've ever gone without a meeting since I started with OA.

Kosher.

Started workout late this week.  Was so tired Monday morning and Monday after work.  Worked in that hot sun all day Sunday and it caught up with me.  Usually start my cardio on Mondays.  Went to gym last night for weight training and was gonna double up and do my cardio, but got to talking with my buds and ran out of time.  But made up for it this morning with a run on the street.  Planning on hitting the gym tonight to do a treadmill workout and I'll be caught up.

Eating is fairly good throughout the day.  I try to shoot for at least 60 grams of protein during the day at work so I only have to shoot for 40-45 for dinner/snack.

B:  5 scrips bacon/grits/protein coffee
L:  Pulled pork/corn on kob
D:  prolly chicken breast

Other than that...good.

You are good always making up the missed work outs.  And you're really working the protein too.  I'd been doing 100g myself but I think I can do with a little less as my weight comes down.  I never thought I'd say this but its hard to consistently eat this much protein comfortably.  I'd much rather eat than have shakes.
