About to shop for my first swimsuit in 15 years......
and I am nervous like a mofo!!!!! I haven't worn a swimsuit since I was in high school (if then) and I have to go shop for one or two for my Vegas trip........
The THOUGHT of buying something that will show THAT much is really messing with my head!!!! I know I need one with shorts or a skirt - that's a given - but the halter top part..... ummmm Ionknow.
Do they make suits with long sleeves? Can I get one of those tight bodysuit kinds with long arms AND legs???? LOL!!!! I have seen chicks in suits that ummm - well, let's just say I will NEVER have THAT much confidence and I refuse to be the one being whispered about at the pool!!!!!
I'm going to check out Walmart and JC Penny...... anybody got any other suggestions???

Ooooohhhh, I hear you girl. I had to take a Prozac, a xanex, have hands laid on me, have a breathing treatment, sit in the dark and pray, all just to TRY ON a swimsuit!!! Then...once I stopped crying....I bought one...at Macy's (they were having a really good sale, otherwise I found a few at Wal-mart that were okay)!
I bought one last year (before my plastic surgery) and found a really cute cover up to go over it. The cover up is some sheer pants with the matching sheer top. Found it at Dillard's. I've only worn it a couple of times and the cover up NEVER came off! I was not about to let those "Thunder Thighs" be seen in public!
I agree with Purpletb, get a cover up if you are apprehensive. The ones that
tie like a scarf are really cute and give the appearance of being more stylish
than trying to hide things. I also like the pull over dresses that are mesh. My
legs are awful so I wear very tight bicycle shorts with my suit and it kinda
looks like boy shorts but if I were as small as you I would probably wear a 2
piece. Find something cute, get the confidence up and have a ball in Vegas!
