About to shop for my first swimsuit in 15 years......
Hey Miss Lady,
I just bought my daughter one from Marshall's. It has a zipper and a racer back. It has a wet suit look. She's chunky so I looked for a suit with coverage. she looks like a lifeguard from Bay Watch. Sorry, no sleeves though. (smile)
Another good choice is a tankini: 2pc with just a peek of belly now and then; often has a cute skirt style and good coverage of the back.
I agree with what Meso Thin said about the sarong and the mesh fabric. Very cute in a Vegas pool side sort of way.

I'm skeered of them too. My thighs look like jelly and lets not even talk about the boobage and belly. There is a suit in a catalog called "As We Change" that looks like a unitard because it comes almost to the knee. It would be great for a water aerobic suit because those dresses do not work well in the water. Get a cute cover up and strut your stuff girl !!!
I'm late to this thread but you will look fabulouse in your swim suit. You are fit. And toned. You don't need aa skirt or shorts.
Go for legs that are slightly high cut but keep your cheeks. Covered for a longer leaner looking leg. Halter or v neck if you have clevage, bandeau square or scoop neck if you don't.
Skip walmart and go for quality like a delta burk or one of the slimming brabds if you are self concious. The quality construction looks reallly good on any shape. The cheap suits don't work on everyone.
