Act of a fool on yesterday eating my mom's bday cake... Italian Creme Cheese Cake..


Anyway, I did exercise everyday this weekend AND this morning.

Oh how I miss those first "5 years" of eating whatever I wanted to eat and not gain a pain.. Oh well gotta suck it up and eat right AND exercise...

So far this morning I had my homemade strawberry/banana protein shake and coffee.
Mid morning snack will be a boiled egg
lunch will be a salad from somewhere.

I ordered my mom cake from a bakery.. $28.. It was so worth it.. Here is a simple recipe...


 

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1-1/2 cup flaked coconut, lightly toasted
  • 6 eggs whites
  • ---
  • Frosting:
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cups chopped pecans, lightly toasted

    It taste exactly like it look...

My mama had an Italian creme cake at her house the other week..... man that joker was gooder than a mug!!!!!

my salad will be Greek from Panera - with chicken, it goes HARD IN THA PAINT!!!! lol

Thanks for all that you do!!!  You have always been one of my main go to persons and I appreciate you!!!! You are so very helpful and you always shot straight from the hip!
Now I don't consider myself a vet, but I am on board!!!!   The second time around has to be the charm for me!!!! 
New tool, new year, new me!!!!  And I am willing to do what it takes!!!
So far this morning I have had my protein shake, 20 ounces of water and morning vits.  Headed to the gym to re join today.  My six weeks will be this Friday so I am free to work out....Pray for me!!! :-)

I mall walked yesterday and did my food shopping for the week.  I had my "Last Supper" of frozen custard last night.  I ate mindfully the rest of the weekend and still managed to drop a pound and a half.

This morning I brought to work:
 
Breakfast
1 boiled egg
Oatmeal (approx 3/4 c)

Lunch
Turkey/Cheese Sandwich 
         (low carb bread @ 35 calories per slice and left off the mayo)
Sugar free Jello cup

Snacks
Banana
Small apple

I wore my walking shoes to work and will leave my desk sometime this afternoon to walk for 20 minutes or so.

Headed to the gym....

So far, all vitamins/supplements taken....
Started on my water... will do 80 oz today...
Watermelon scoop and 18 oz. protein this morning for breakfast...

I actually didn't do toooo bad this weekend.  I went to my cousins wake but not the funeral so I was able to avoid the fried chicken dinner and pound cakes that were served afterwards. 

I kinda had my "last supper" for dinner yesterday cause I made chicken & dressing/cranberry sauce with all the trimmings (a mini-Thanksgiving dinner)

Today:
B -  protein shake
L -  Split pea soup
Snack - s/f jello or pudding - protein shake
D - baked chicken, broccoli/cheese sauce 
 
Water - 2 - 48 oz cups of crushed ice so far, will definitely have at least 3 more before the day ends!  (this is my new addiction - I eat ice ALL DAY LONG!!.....I know......I need to go get my iron checked)

This weekend I had 2 extra WW ice cream bars.  I have got to stop it today and get it together.  I made my 2nd goal on Saturday at weigh in and I don't want to mess up now that i'm losing.

I am going to get in a lot of water today and make sure I get in all my vitamins and eat well.   I want to lose 2 more pounds this month.   I hope I can, it's so hard for me to lose weight.
