Hi Soul Flower....

Glad that you found what has brought you results and most of all peace.  My decision to get the band was 2 yrs in the making.....and now this.......as it goes.......to whom much is given, much is required.  Im contemplative right now cause everytime Ive made an impulsive decision in my life...its cost me more in the long run.  Pray for me SF. Thanks!

I have seen 175 on my scale one day in my post op past.......

it SUCKS to look at 205 today!!!!!  SUCKS!!!!!!

that whole 'tis better to have loved and lost' is BULLCHIT!!!!!  Tis better to have lost then gained back??? NOT!!!!  I can't be mad about what I never achieved, but I can SHO feel madder than a hornet with water on its nest for the #s I'm pulling today..........

Do I WANT to be 175 again?  not really - not interested in being a size 8.  BUT - I want my 10/12 back and not this 12/14 crap!!!!!

Hey Mack,

See.....to have gained 30 back says to me that if you didnt /dont stop and get a grip, it could turn to 40, 50....whats to stop it but YOU!!!

Girlfriend you got to get madder than mad and get back down to your desired size. Do you think that doctor is refunding the money he got paid ohhhhh helll no....so why are we slipping back into our unhealthy habits.  Time to get crackin Mack!  Im here with you and getting mad too, if its anything to you.

I think it's a mind thing as far as the WLS. We have all had this surgery some have gotten to goal, some under goal, and some never got there. I can't say that having a revision will get you there IDK but it goes back to our eating habits, exercising, and drinking the water. This is only a tool for us we now have to do the leg work. Like you I'm pretty far out from WLS as well and I am on a mission to loose 10-15 pds. It's a mind thing, once you have your mind made up you can do whatever it is you want to do. We just gotta get over that hump.

Getting over the hump is whats neccessary for sure. Day by day......meal by meal, we gotta make it happen!  I had a goal in mind to be fabulous and 40....and my bday is Nov....I got time to get it together and keep it that way.  Thanks!

IMHO there is no worse. It is about how you feel about yourself and what you are willing to do to prove that you love you some you. If you want or need a revision, go for it but there are no guaruntees unless you make it happen. You know the culprit is your head and heart, even FB and the sweets are secondary to that.  We all need to change our thinking and relationship with food and I am not by any means saying it is an easy task...but with the love of self, you can do it, with or without a surgeon's scapel.  I have faith in you.

Shay...I have never totally made it all about me. And just when I was setting up to love me like I deserved and taking time out for me and only me..........I  went back to what was comfortable.

But whats comfortable is killing me physically and emotionally. Thanks for having faith in me....Im realizing that I need to find in myself  in order for this to work.

Hugs!

For all its worth if you feel the band did not work out, then explore other options, I hear most people love their sleeve, not many complications assoicated with it, and they lose a lot of weight, it may be beneficial since you don't have to worry about getting good restriction since you will not be able to eat much at all right out of surgery whereas with the band it take months to gain good restriction.  I will say that I am satified with my band, I've had a love hate relationship over the years but overall it has done good things for me helping me maintan my weight loss. Do what you think is good for your overall health happiness and well being, I wish you the best in whatever you decide!

Naomi, the band  worked, when I worked it.   I know that much.  Thanks for your well wishes...I cant give up on me just yet.  I know what I can do and have done when my head was focused. Getting back there and pushing past my fears is whats required!

Hugs!
