Post deleted since happiness offends others....Enjoy the rest of your day....

I will answer my own  question briefly, I am truly happy and blessed to have good health and career! And I am really happy about my upcoming wedding.

P.S. No wonder, these message boards are not that active anymore....

I don't feel guilty about being happy any more than I would expect others to feel guilty because I am troubled.  Happiness is our natural state.  I enjoy my bliss.  As long as I am not the cause of anyone elses misery, there is no reason for guilt.  We musn't let this world steal our joy.

KCB you are really a true inspiration I love how you phrase it "Happiness in our natural state" I believe if we always think positive and have love for one another regardless how others perceive us, then no one can ever seal our joy!

Good morning!

This was a great post and gives you plenty to think about. Unlike others, I really do feel guilty sometimes - not all times. My immediate family is pretty obese so it's hard to be as excited as I would like to be around them. I am normally a very outspoken person and really wouldn't care but my heart aches for them because I know they wish they could do something to control their weight issues as well. I've noticed when I talk about losing 40 more pounds for my ultimate goal weight.....they look at me like I'm crazy or say........huh, I would be happy where you are now.

Now on the other hand, when I'm with my friends that has had the surgery as well I feel "free" if that makes sense. Just free to say.....I'm in this size or free to say I have energy and don't feel like a lazy cow.

I don't know..............just my thoughts.

I wanted to add........although I feel bad for others....I'm really at a happier/healthier place in my life. I can't say it's all because of weightloss but it helps feeling good about me.

Hello, you've made some really good point Talisha! Your family sounds a bit like mine, they look at you like you are crazy for mentioning losing more weight, I am sure there is some jealously too with family members and sometimes we have to stay away from family and friends too when you are trying to reach a personal goal.

I have always believed if you keep quite about personal goals until they are accomplished whether it be school or weight loss you can concentrate better, remember you have to be happy so do what makes you happy!
