Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

Tell the whole truth and be accountable. Its WEDNESDAY folks.  How are you doing so far this week?  Is your plan on track?  You know what you need to do so are you doing to do it? 

Keep the basics in mind.  Protein first.  Water, sip, sip, sip.  No drinking while eating, let fullness sink in.  Vitamins and supplements, take them.  Excercise, get moving.  Beware of the carb monster if he is your nemisis.  We will do this!

Morning!

I'm doing pretty good today! I'm just getting my first protein drink in for the day. I had to wait until I made it to work because I'm in a "biggest loser" challenge here and today is weigh-in day. I am maintaining but not losing really. It's my fault though.........I have not worked out all week. Ugh!

However, I plan to try to get some cardio in today and I'm starting the liquid + diet today with Trina.

Here we go....................

Hey its been awhile.  Maintaining is far better than gaining.  Time to get to loosing for you and me both. 

I can't join you peeps cause I want my days uninterrupted but I will start on Sunday.  Stay strong!

It's hard for me to get online daily with the new job, school, kids, etc. when I get home at night........I just don't have the strength to get online. I am making an effort to check in as much as possible. I need you guys and the accountability.

I may need you to teach me how to calorie count. You really keep track of what you are eating. I don't do that at all - I just know when I've done ok for the day and when I've had a bad day. I really don't care for my NUT at all but I was just thinking..........how many grams of protein should I have daily? Just basics..........I'm going to search some stuff out online today.

My surgeon's simplified method:
Protein needs = weight in lbs divided by 2.2

For me 145 lbs / 2.2 = 66 grams of protein per day
I shoot for 100g.  Anything lower and my hair falls out.  Bald is not a good look for me. 

Just hit me on the b/l if you want help with tracking.  There are so many sites out there that make it easy.

What diet are you guys starting I need to hope onboard with you? Let me know. I am maintaining not losing but not gaining either. I haven't exercised this week at all I know my fault. I did walk in today instead of catching the bus it was just a 5 minute walk but it made all the difference in starting my day. I need to get back on track with tracking my food which I haven't been doing either.

Yesterday was a max calorie day.  For me that means I ate to my full maintenance calories based on my ideal weight.  

I am craving       salt.  Is there a salt monster hanging out with the carb monster?  It was the carbs and the salt yesterday.  I'm not fretting over the carbs but the salt is a definete no.  I managed to stay away from the caffine. 

If I don't get moving today I risk falling behind on exercise.  It is shaping up to be one of those weeks and it will only get worse.  I have to make it happen.  Minimum three cardio and three strength for the week.

I'm about ready to jump in the accountability FIRE!!!!!!! LOL.  My eating has been out of control I am prementaposal and PMSing this week the 2 dreaded P's and I am craving everything in sight especially sweets, salty foods and those wonderful carbs. 

When I get back into the carbs it always takes me a few days to put them down and get back on track.  I guess the important thing is that I know that I can get back on track.  I have put on 5 pounds of the 20 pounds I lost while ill but I'm weighing myself every day and will not let it get out of hand.  I am determined to loose 20 pounds by my birthday in August. 

I am thinking about asking my surgeon for a 30 day supply of diet pills so that I can get my eating on tract.  I see him tomorrow don't know if he will do it or if I will have the balls to ask him for them but time will tell :)  I know the pills are not the answer to my life long battle with food but I need something to jump start me this month.

Do what you gotta do.  Even with the pills you've go to clear the pantry as best you can or put things where you have to struggle to get to them like in the cupboard over the fridge.  That's where my pretzels are, lol.  I need a ladder from the gararge to eat them.
