Hey y'all how is everyone doing? Great I hope. I am having some issues and wondering if I should be worried. My TT was on May 28th and the day before I was at the dentist and got really sick. I guess the rinse stuff did not agree with me because I had a major bowel blowout and voimting for about 45 minutes. I felt bad for the other patients in the offce. Now that's the last time I have had a bowel moevment. I have taken stool softners, laxatives and nothing has happemed other than the occasional passing of gas. Should I be worried? Now for part two. They removed the drains last thursday and the area where the tube came out of my left leg bleed quite a bit and the doctor said just but a sanaitary pad over it so you don't mess up your clothes. It finally scabbed over and stopped Sunday. Now this morning I get up and I have blood every where because the right leg is bleeding every where. Should I be worried or just get a big pad and tape it down? Thanks for your help.

You had your TT on the 28th and haven't had a BM since. That is 11 days, That is not good. You need to be calling your doctor to see what the hell is going on, and especially if laxatives aren't working.

They didn't operate on your intestines, so your bowels should not be affected. So you should get yourself checked or something.

I sure in hell would be worried if I had a 11 day back up in my body.

I would be worried as well. No bowel movement could cause problems. Try OTC Magnesium Citrate..found in the pharmacy isle. Its a liquid in a glass bottle. That stuff works and if it don't...go see the doctor. My doc recommended it after my TT. I has the same problem but we addressed it before 11 days.

I would also be concerned about the drain site. I would think that if its bleeding as your post suggests that maybe there should be some packing done in that area and then have it covered with the pad. You want to ensure that it heals from the inside out and that no infection sets in.

Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!

Way too long without a bm. Even if you are on liquids you should have passed something by now. In your situation I would call the doctors o both issues immediately.
