Accountability Mission: No Mercy and No Excuses

Tell the whole truth and be accountable. Its TUESDAY my BAF family.  How did you start the week?  Is your plan in place for this week?  You know what you need to do.  Did you do it last week?  Are you going to do it this week?

Keep the basics in mind.  Protein first.  Water, sip, sip, sip.  No drinking while eating, let fullness sink in.  Vitamins and supplements, take them.  Excercise, get moving.  Beware of the carb monster if he is your nemisis.  We will do this!

...All are welcome, jump in at anytime.

Yesterday was good as far as calories, vits, water was concerrned.  No exercise, but I will get all my sessions in for the week.  I stayed away from the caffine but the sodium brought me down.

I had a not so happy meal and my submission to "fat food" (aka fast food) as one member of the BAF family calls it, was loaded with salt.  I ate the fries, skipped the bun and soda.  The meal was 360 cal but so salt laden that I'm up a pound this morning in spite of a diuretic.  Moreover, I am supposed to be protein focused after a carby weekend.

Today I'm on it and will be doing it right.

I am feeling thin today.  If I keep up eating well, which I will, I know i'll have a good loss this week.   My goal is 187 and damit i'm going to make it if it kills me, and it just might.   LOL.

I really enjoy my eating,  I have to remember that no matter what I really like the way i'm eating so even if I don't lose it fast i'm losing and I'm enjoyiing my food.

I will be thin,  I will be thin,  I just know it

Yesterday I decided to do a liquid diet as a means of purging all the junk that I ate over the weekend and as an attempt to rid myself of my potato chip and pastry cravings.
I did well all day until I got to my mother's house and she had oxtails cabbage and rice left over from Sunday...I ate like a pig .  So It's back to the drawing board.

Today is not necessarily all liquid but I'm not eating meat or complex carbs.  So far so good.  I've got 2 glasses of water down and some watermelon.  Next is my EAS RTD strawberry shake.

I do well all day until I get home, then everything goes to pot.

I need a few liquid days myself.  I plan on taking up Ms#1MM's challenge.  I add some benefiber to mine.  A few days of liquids gives me a good cleansing every now and then.  Good luck, be strong!

Hey girl!  You know you can follow through cause you've lost it and kept it off.

A wealth of info is why we depend on each other.  I've learned even from folks who were gone long before I found BAF.

Monday went well. I did not over eat at all yesterday which is new for me. I usually fill the pouch up and feel uncomfortable for about an hour or two. Now I am trying to eat less and more healthy. Yesterday I had 3 turkey meatballs for breakfast, lunch 4 meatballs, snack banana and few wheat crackers, my last snack was apple and peanut butter, and finally dinner was fajita. I had one wheat tortilla and the fajita meat with the veggies and a spoon of sour cream. Today I had leftovers for breakfast, but no tortilla. snack I had some honeydew melon, lunch more fajita meat and veggies with sour cream, and I have a snack and dinner left for later. Not sure what that will be. I am thinking dinner will consist of baked chicken breast and corn on the cob without butter. Yesterday I had a pretty good workout. I did tae bo for about 22 mins and then the treadmill for 30 mins. I jogged/walk for 2.25 miles. Today I jogged/walked 2.1 mile, and tomorrow I plan to walk and do tae bo again. Water has been okay, 6 cups at least, but it could be a little better. I am working on that. I am doing good with the vitamins. The only thing I need to get in order is my water right now. I had to also stop having so much salt. My craving for salt is more than my craving for sugar. I can sit and eat sunflower seeds all day which is bad a lot of salt and calories.

Glad your week has started well.  Breaking the habit of being full is tough.  Its a major head issue but you can beat the compulsive eating behavior.  Unfortunately surgery can't fix it but it can be fixed.

I hear you on the salt thing, ditto for me .

Get more water.  Sip, sip, sip.  You need it even more with exercising and summer heat.  Six cups is never enough.  Even non ops should get eight.  Your kidney's will love yu for it.
