Every since I had surgery I have been eating chewable childrens vitamins and I know I read on another board that we should be using and adult multivitamin.

Please tell me what multivitamin you are using?

I picked up the powder that you add to water and it was very nasty and I am looking for a multivitamin to use.

I was going to get that on Saturday, but it was so cheap I thought it wasnt any good. Do you use the calcium citrate from there also because it was cheap to?

I've been taking the Sam's Club multi-vitimins but the nurse that runs our group meetings frowned on that. She suggested the Barriatric Advantage brand vitimins since it is designed for our specific needs. I thought I'd check it out when I need to re-up.

Of course they suggest that...the docs make money offa that ish. I believe most 'bariatric' vitamins are gimmicks, esp the ones that claim to have ALL the vits you need in 1 pill. What happens if your labs come back low on some things, how do you adjust? I've always taken multivits from Wally World, I just chew them up. Labs are still good at 6 years.

Now that's good to know. I haven't had labs done (I'm only 6 mos out). I chew mine too, supposedly, to help with absorbtion.
