Hi guys! It's been awhile since I've dropped in to check on everyone. I pray everyone is doing well in all stages of their lives.
Well, The baby and I went to Florida last week to spend time with my parents and on the way back we met Muhummad Ali and his wife Lonnie. They were so sweet and they adored my son. They played with him and gave him kisses as if he were their own....what a special moment for us. Hey girl a baby and all, life has changed haven't it. For the better, we are all so blessed. He is a simply beautiful boy. I have a story similar yours, it happened in the 70's so Ali was in the height of his career
. We were taking one of my husbands friends to the airport he was returning to the military. We had my maybe a year old daughter with us who is very dark in complexion with a head full of hair and she had been walking since 8 mos. So she was tittling around and Ali was sitting in a certain area of the port
I don't know if he was leaving or coming. At any rate he said hey who's baby is that. Bring that little black cutie over to me. My husband looked up and when into heart attack mode
. He grabbed our daughter and ran to Mr. Ali. Sr. Sr. can you please sigh her diaper. of which he did. most embarrassing, after Mr. Ali sat her down and making such a fuss over how beautiful she was my husband tore the diaper off of her and told me to put her on a new one. She is 36 years old now and still has that diaper ( It became hers after her father passed.) So when I read your story it brought all these memory back. And its good to know that Ali still loves babies. That's impressive!

Man, I got so caught up in my story that I forgot to end properly and most of all forgot to add my comments about your success in your weight lost and keeping it off. 
You look phenomenal woman.
I am so proud of you. And after having a baby too. How did you accomplish that? Whatever you did, it's working. I just could not pass the opportunity up to encourage you.

Hey COKE!!! Now girl...you look good !!!!! You have came such a looooonnnggg way, I'm proud of you.
As far as the weight loss goes, I haven't excercised since I was 5 1/2 months pregnant...not good at all! But after I had him majority of the weight was all baby except about 20 lbs which I still havent lost yet....but I'm about to get on the ball.
Your story was amazing....he really does love children, he couldn't stop kissing the baby until the baby finally had enough and started to cry and then his wife grabbed him up from Ali...it was awesome!

It is so good to hear from you, I am so excited. Lets not stay away from each other this long. Just send a note. You have been so bless to have such a beautiful baby boy and healthy. The other blessing was that you only gained 20 lbs. How the heck did that happen. you had to not eat at all. I gained 90 lbs with my first child and 120 lbs. with my second. The doctor told me that he thought he was going to have to expand his doorway. 
It would be great if we could check on each other every once and a while, I would like that.
