P90X???
Hi,
Ruben Studdard is using Power 90 and he's lost so much and he looks great. If you get it, you don't need to get the super expensive full program. There are 3 DVD's and all of them have the same workout. Why they would do it that way, I have no clue. Try Amazon and just get 1 DVD. The rest is a waste.
A fitness professional friend told me the only people she knows that does P90X on a regular basis are Police/ Military/ Fitness "crazed" types.
I also agree with Pickle, The 30 day shred builds your arms up quickly. In a very short time, I saw muscles in my arms that I've NEVER seen before. And, this was with a reasonable amount of effort. I consider myself an intermediate level exerciser.

P90 is more repetitive your right Lisa, P90X is a different program completely. Guess I'm one of thoe "Crazed" people, cause I have done it 3 times. LOL.
The Jillian Michaels workouts are pretty darn good, and they work pretty fast like Lisa said you start to notice little muscles popping up before you know it.

LOL!! I think you're safe, Pickle. The military leader guy from the movie Avatar is a better definition of "Crazed". With 3 workouts under your belt you are well in the sane category. (smile).
I do have a question for you though, since you brought up arms. Were your arms in fair shape before WLS? Arms are my second biggest problem area (belly is #1). I've only lost about 50 lbs so I still have far to go but I wonder if my arms will ever really tone up without plastic surgery.

Girl I didn't do 3 workouts, I did the entire 90 day program 3 times one after the next, so I did 9 months of the X straight.
I messed up my shoulder twice and my knee twice and still did not miss one day, even when out of town I took my laptop and cd's. I was completely obsessed with it. You have to be.
Yes I did have muscles before WLS, I have the type of body that builds muscle fast. You should start working your arms hard before you lose all your weight. Pick up weights that are uncomfortable to you and lift to exhaustion, your arms will be sore as hell, but they build up muscle fast if you lift heavier.
