I'd be more than a little frustrated.  I'd be ready to fight somebody.  This is just so wrong...

If this doctor would abandon his patients like that, I wouldn't trust that joker with anything.  Do not give up on your search to find a new physician.   You might want to post a query for a surgeon on the Main Forum, your state forum and also the Band message board as a starting place to get some information.

I wanted to respond on your advice about looking for a new doctor. I have tried, no doctor want to take on the sloppy seconds of another colleage. Or at lease I have not found one. They are not getting the surgecal fees only follow up money. I have medicare and thats always a problem also. Another reason is I felt a little like making him finish what he started. Kind of like a woman attempting to make a man love  her forever because he married her. Some analagy huh  Well I guess at this point I do need to try to find another doctor and maybe this time I will have better luck. Or maybe a Support group? At any rate thanks So Blessed for your advice.

I thank all of you for your response for it helps me to hold on, I get so upset with myself yet the desire to reach my goal is so strong. I want to see the thin me. I don't want to die fat and have a oversize cast with extra pallbearer's. Do you guys understand, I want to be able to join in the fun with my grandchildren. I don't want to have people taking care of me because I can't get up and do it for myself because I'm to fat.
