Hey BAF
Well my journey started here and I wanted to make sure it ended here, though it is a journey I will be on for the rest of my life. I am typing this post from Mexico and will be having surgery with Dr. Sauceda tomorrow morning... I had a breast lift/reduction in Philly exactly 2 weeks ago and am now going to have the extended tummy tuck with the anchor incision and an arm lift... I am weighing in @ 153 and according research and data on the plastic surgery forum, my 2nd home, I think I have about 6-8 lbs of extra skin because my tummy has A LOT of excess fat and skin, more than many I have seen. After it is all said and done, swelling and extra effort, I hope to surpass my goal of 150. I am wearing sizes 6-8 and mainly mediums with some smalls... My bra size was a 36DD and now a 36C... I have been doing well maintaining my weight but today of all days my fiance, who is here in Mexico with me, and I went to McD's and I ate a Big Mac... half earlier and the other half 6 hours after... I mainly did it because I was amazed to see one here (but that is a NO NO for me and I cannot stop thinking about it but need to get over it, when I do something like that I get soooo guilty but that is something I need to work on)... It is weird because Monterrey is really okay... There is a Walmart, HomeDepot, Chilis, Apple Bees, dealerships, etc, etc... When I think of a foreign country I think of a dirt road which is stupid of me, but I am being honest... Dr. Sauceds's assistant picked us up from the airport, and when we landed I had to pinch myself, still cannot believe I am here...
About Dr. Sauceda, he has a forum that his patients created and it is like a little family, I am the 2nd African American patient from OH.com that I know off, but he has so many patients and I have heard next to no complaints... Money was part of the reason I chose him but after insurance picked up the boobs I would have ended up paying only 7k more to do my procedures in Philly but I was very confident with Dr. S and his abilities and decided to spend the excess money on a new car to go with the new body...lol... He is a VERY talented person and my only issue is the after care... Many men and women come here alone and they are very brave and I commend them... I am lucky enough to have my fiance with me, he has helped mentally, physically and financially to make this happen.
I hate that I cannot share this experience with others initally because they do not understand... As always I will keep EVERYONE posted on my experience... I am getting marked up in about 2 hours and having surgery tomorrow morning... Please keep me in your prayers and I wish you all continued success in your journey's
