Food may not be a "friend" but we should still be able to take pleasure in a meal. Dine with good company, make smart selections, eat modest portions.

LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
No post yesterday but I'm still accountable. Friday was one of those eat what you can get days. I choose to stop fearing running out of food so I packed just the bare essentials. Then the reasons I normally carry too much food actually came to pass. I had my nutritious lunch, then I had to find food for the rest of the day. My sodium was blown to bits with chips and kfc chicken strips.
Yesterday was good eating from a taste perspective. Carribean foods whi*****luded rice, beans, veg, curry... Mmmmm. Yummm ! Four small meals plus a little slice of cake and a tablespoon of whipped peanut butter. The traditional cooking brought the calorie count up but it was a worthwhile treat. Once upon a time all four litttle dishes would have easily been one meal. How sad.
Today some pld fashioned Southern bbq to start from one of tose country joints that does the whole pig on site. I got a full and happy pouch. Trying to focus on portion control and protein today. I need to work this water retention from Friday's salt and yesterday's carbs out of my stsyem.

Weighed in yesterday. only lost .2 ounces, not happy about that but I figured my loss would be smal after my big loss last week.
Went to a picnic yesterday, had half of a italian susage, 6 baked layes, 1/2 cup cherries, and 2 small chocolate chip cookies. I was stuffed and satisfied and didn't blow my eating plan. Yeaaaa me !!!
I think i'm going to have a great week because i'm going to make it great. Working on 186 this week.
