Im getting fat again

Ok....so I work out regularly....but my eating is out of control!!!
I wonder sometimes if my pouch is messed up or something, I can eat all day! and I do not dump! and Im one freakin month away from my wedding and Im 194 from 184(my lowest) It may not sound like alot but my cloths are getting tight and I feel like Im bloated all the time! Im so out of control! I need something to snap in my brain so I can freakin "get it" once and for all.

(((((HUGS)))))  I can so relate.  I feel like a big ol' bloated beached whale today.  I think I'm going to do all protein shakes this weekend and just take a break from food.

Thanks for you post, at least I know Im not alone....Ive been saying I need to do all liquids, but Its like I can even go an hour without popping something in my mouth much less a whole weekend! It sounds so easy but Im having such a hard time following through I do not want to go back to where I was, this feels to familiar!

Girl, the stress of planning a wedding is enough to make a girl eat herself into oblivion.  I highly recommend that you get a handle on this ASAP because {typically} women gain weight after marriage anyway.

Find an accountability partner and talk to them everyday. This is good for the psyche as well.
Journal everything that you put into your mouth (I use sparkpeople.com)
Every time you feel the urge to eat, drink a full glass of water FIRST.  Sometimes dehydration is - masked as hunger.
Write and repeat positive affirmations to yourself.

Dare I say this?  Oh, well.....if necessary, get a TEMPORARY prescription for appetite suppressants.  Take them with the understanding that this is not a fix all, but it will allow you to get back in control of your hunger and emotions.  I firmly believe that we sometimes eat out of "emotion".

I am absolutely stressed out no doubt about it! Im going on Spakpeople.com today to see what that's about. I also bought a book last weekend suggested by Oprah called Women, Food and God by Geneen Roth, I just got into the first chapter and it really interesting. It talks about why emotional eating happens had how to recognize it....between that, logging, water, and writing maybe I can get past this hurdle quick cause my wedding dress will be a beautiful disaster if I dont.

GET CONTROL OF IT NOW. 

Don't be like me.  I went from 145 to 204 and it sucked ass,  yeah a lot of it was medical reasons but it still sucked.  I am working my way back to that 145 but it is very hard,  I have another 40 pounds to get off my butt and I work hard at doing it.

Listen to all the posters and get it done NOW !!!!  Don't let 10 turn into 30, cause it happens quickly.

 I know the feeling!!!!!  I am still in the 200-205 range - 185 is my 'cruising' weight.  I have found, though, that my water intake is VERY low - did you know that you should drink half your body weight in oz each day?

For you (and me) that's 100 oz - have you been doing that?  Start today!  I guarantee you won't be able to eat AS much cause you'll be chugging water most of the time!!!! It may also help you with the bloated feeling - typically retaining water or bloating like that means your body isn't evacuating toxins as it needs or should.  

Congrats on the wedding!!! Keep ya head up!

No doubt about it....I certainly have not been drinkin water at all....maybe a glass every other day. but 100oz....wow who knew. I will medicate myself with water this weekend.  Thanks!

 ah HA!!!!  lol - yep - who knew INDEED!!!!

A tip - 100oz is 3 liters.  The individual water bottles we so often drink are half a liter each, so that's 6 bottles PER DAY.  I break it up into 2s.... I do 2 by 10am, 2 by 1pm and 2 by 6pm.  I still drink other stuff - but I make it a point to check in at those check points. 

I've been drinking the SF sparkling water - but I don't think it 'works' like plain water - hard to explain, but I don't feel like I am really getting any benefit, so I am now trying to stick to plain water. 

my other tip (and pardon me for being so personal) is that if you ain't drinking but a glass every other day, my bet is you ain't shyttin very often either.  Did you ALSO know you should be on the bowl everyday AT LEAST?  Yep!  So - check out a laxative or a super dieter's tea to get things 'moving' to start off with - THAT cleansing is a MOFO for REAL!  lol
