Out of lurk mode for now.. Need advice....

I did talk with my daughter and just told him that he needed to go to get himself together (I stayed real with her about him w/o bashing him). Even after the talk, she continued to ask if she can call him (all the way up to yesterday).. So, all i can do is pray that she will open up and allow my hubby to be there for her regardless of how much she loves her biological dad. I accept that fact that she will always have a heart for him and I dare not take that away but allow her to learn for herself.

Now as far as my son-who is 6--he barely talks about his dad-unless I mention his name. I show him pictures of his dad and he doesnt recognize him. He just accepts the fact and believes me when I tell him that's his biological dad and go on about his business. He doesnt ask about him or anything unless we're talking about him(his dad).. He calls my hubby his father (although he is aware that they have different last names)..  I just hope that he doesnt grow up being very angry at the world-although he has the issue (anger issues) right now.
