Northern CALI.... Bay Area (anyone) ??? Need some support !!
Hey y'all.... I'm back !! I've been on this journey since 08. Haven't had surgery yet. (long story)!! Well neways I'm on the path to WLS... I have a pre-surgery goal weight, & I have lost 18lbs thus far.. I have another 12lb to go. I'm finding myself starting to get discouraged (I've started eating foods I know aren't good for me). Also the select few I've told about the surgery are sayn" oh if u lost that weight u could keep going and lose it w/out the surgery......" yeah yeah I KNOW y'all (BAF) know the rest of what their sayn.
Right now I just NEED some folks encouraging me to keep going, who are supportive of the WLS.....I feel I'm at a very crucial & fragile point & I don't want give up and slip back into old habits!!!! So if there are folks in the bay area that have a lil time to spare, I would love to get together and talk.... THANKS

I am in Southern Cali and I am on the pre op diet also. I lost 30 so far and have 6.5 to go. I know exactly what your going through with all the talking. Just keep yourself focus on you. You know what is best.
Yes, I can lose weight but I yo-yo right back with 10 pounds extra. I never get to goal. Sometimes I feel like I am starving myself to lose what I did lose. This has gone on for years and the health issue are now creaping up.
WLS is my choice to help me.
You can do it, just keep trying to eat right. Try practicing some of the changes we will have to make after surgery, like eating more protein and eating your protein first. Documenting what we eat. If you fall off, just pick yourself up right away . I punish myself with a hard gym work out for eating those chips or cookies.
