Missing my doggy so bad today...i need some BAF love
I experienced my very first bout of depression when my cat passed. He was 14 yrs old and I had to decide whether to let him live or not. There was no guarantee that he would. It was the most painful thing I'd experienced up to that point. I can say that it gets better with time. Also, as soon as you are ready get another pet. Nothing will replace Geo, I know! Miko passed about 2 yrs ago and I am just now looking for a puppy.
Lastly, I hope this isn't too spooky, but I've heard a few people speak at my church who had been taken to heaven. They did say that our pets were there. So, if you choose to believe that (I do), you will see him again.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I joke with everyone and tell them my "Rex" will be like the mouse on Green Mile and outlive us all. Just the thought of losing him makes me teary eyed. The wonderful thing is your baby "The Great Geo" is no longer suffering and is running around with the other animals who made it over the rainbow.

I know how deeply it hurts. I am so sorry for your loss. This poem brought me some comfort when I lost my furbaby, Muffin. (((((HUGS)))))
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
