Queen Latifah movie

My daughter, sister and I went to this movie this past weekend.  This is the first movie she has even played in where I did not like the movie.  There was simply no chemistry between Queen Latifah and Common.  My daughter liked it so I did not make a lot of comments to her about the movie.  She is 11 going on 14 and thinks everything is a personal attack and everyone should see things the same way she does.  The pre-teen and teen years truly suck.  My son just turned 23 and he is just starting to come out of the all about me stage. Did anyone else see the movie?  What did you think?

Hi there - haven't seen the movie, but I commented last week that Latifah has zero acting chops playing it straight.

Now that scene with the blonde chick in Set it Off?  TOTALLY BELIEVABLE!

Heck - did you see Last Holiday?  I said if you can't make it look good with LL Cool J....... you's a die HARD **************

OK....there you have it. Thanks for the review. I guess I will wait for the bootleg DVD.  Sounds like a . i was checking out some of the other critics...and they all agree...its just so so. Dayum...I so need a nice romantic comedy right now. Guess I will have to watch....I Can Do Bad All By Myself for the gazillionth time. Now that movie had some chemistry popping off...not to mention a good story line!   

Yes, I saw the movie this weekend and I thought it was okay.  It could have been better.  But common was finnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnne in this movie.. lol !!! I say just go see it during matinee time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



SIDENOTE ~~> Heck yeah latifah is a lesiban (nothing wrong w/ that)....  Word is she just bought a house in Hollywood with her "long time personal trainer" . .  I forget her name . Makes ya wonder hmmmmmm . . .

That fine Common was on The Wendy William's Show today. I will say that Serena Williams is a lucky woman. If Queen can't get chemistry with that man, there's no hope...... I would happily try my acting chops opposite him any day.
