I got into the caffine and the salt. Bad, very bad. But, despite the great food in ATL I did not over eat. Three modest meals and one small snack. Plenty of plain water because I am parched. Half of an alcoholic beverage. Not too bad for a weekend away.
Had a blast with my BAF peeps these two days. Now a few of my online friends are also friends irl. Thanks ATL!

Last week I walked 10 miles, which is a lot for a old chick with a tilted kneecap and no cartlidge to stop the bones from rubbing together. So I have to focus on what I can do now with this injury and try to let go of WHAT I USE TO DO, cause that thinking is really messing with my head.
Yesterday I had 3 pieces of Sees candy, and they were part of my points, but today i'm back to eating healthy and drinking sll my water.
My goal for this week is to walk 12 miles, and wear my tight jeans at least once.

Sunday is here already! I must say I did pretty good last week. Sat. was good too; I drank water, took my vitamins, and ate pretty good. I had a girls day out with another WLS patient. We went through the process together. We had diff. surgeries, but we were both celebrating being under 200 pounds. We went out to have Mexican food and it was sooo good. I did good though. I had a steak, rice,pico de galo, and guacamole. NO tortilla which was for the entire day because we had gone every where. nails, tattoos, shopping in the mall. During dinner we laughed because we knew we were only going to be able to eat few bites. But we enjoyed our few bites and went walking. It was really nice. We said goodbye to our old selves and welcome our new lives to come. Today I started out with a protein smoothie for breakfast, I am going to stick to my normal snack and meal every two to three hours. No snacking in between.
I know this surgery was important for me, but I am starting to be mad at myself for getting to the point of no control. I am mad that I was too weak to lose the weight on my own. I am happy that I am getting healthier each day, and now have a chance to live a better life.
