Where do I stand?  Well... not where I need to be for sure.

I've rid the larder of processed foods sans one can of lite soup.  Unfortunately the salt cravings lead me to the cold cuts in the freezer.  I'm rid of those too except I ate them

Unfocused best describes the week to date.  I'm going to take the presure off myself and eat to maintenance for my ideal weight.  Still avoiding sodium and cafine, but I'm going to use a little lite salt (potassium based) in my cooking.  I doubt I'll make my full work out plan for the week but I'll do something for sure.

The fact is with all this water weight I won't loose an ounce this week anyway.  I'm sticking with the protein powder and lean meat for today.  Yesterday included two vegetarian meals.  Plus I had several carb items since the weekend.  Back to protein first.  Plain water intake is no issue.  With all this salt I am always thirsty.

Trying to stay on point today.

I almost convinced myself to call this week a wrap and continue eating any and everything but I got a grip on it. I think my PMS cravings (salt & sweets) has subsided so I'm back on track.

Water, proteins first and back away from the evil carbs especially the sweets.  I've planned meals today of lean protein, salad and protein shakes....That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week was an eye opener for me. I realized that having this surgery is trully not the easy way out. If anything it has become harder. Weighloss comes from eating the right foods no matter what tool a person uses. I feel like I am more hungry after weighloss surgery, but now I just havve to learn to only eat at designated times or I will give into the hunger and eat all day. I pretty much have to ignore the hunger and find something else to do with myself. With that being said.. The last couple of days I have been back on track. Today I am not hoping to continue to eat right...I have to stop hoping and just do it. So, today I am going to get in all my vitamins, drink my water w/ crystal light and plain..have a protein smoothie for breakfast, some grapes and string cheese for snack, lunch will be some turkey lunch meat and salad, snack will be popcorn, dinner will probably be another protein smoothie and veggies unless I can make it to the store to get some lean meats.

The diet (yes I liberally use the dreaded 'D" word) grows tiersome after awhile.  I find meal planning and keeping the freezer and pantry stocked with variety make it easier.  Boredom and poor planning are the enemy.

I struggle too this week. Its all because I don't have cooked foods already weighed and portioned in the freezer.  Also my pantry is poorly stocked.

We can and we will do this.

Well, I am still standing at least. I haven't gained or lost just hanging in here. I'm checking in because I really need accountability and I need to get my butt moving.

Errything is kosher.  Got my workouts in the past two mornings.  Playing catch up (cardio only).  Got one more session to knock out in addition to my two weekly strength training sessions, which I'll knock out Friday (cause I'm off!!!) and Saturday.

Been off that 7 up pound cake (crack cake) for a week now and haven't been bloating nearly as bad.  Can't imagine that one piece of that particular cake inflates my tummy like a baloon.  WHYYYYYYYYYY????  Cause I love it so much.  But anyway, guess I gotta get over that.  The bloating and gas are just too much, especially when I'm in public.  Can't always blame those fart bombs on somebody else.  Sooner or later, they gonna figure out it's been me all along .

My plan is to eat "clean" all weekend, meaning limited carbs and more quality protein. And oh yeah, Water.

I walked about a mile yesterday evening, then I ate about 8 of those Dove dark chocholate and almond squares. Why do I keep doing this?

I ate a sensible dinner (grilled chicken breast wrap)then i started having cravings for cookies/cake. I didn't have any so I ate one of those Breakstone Cottage Cheese Doubles. I guess I survived yesterday. I got all my water in too.

Tonight, some grilled protein and veggies, no alcohol, and a 2 hr. dance class. I am almost finished with my 1st 32 oz. of plain water.  Maybe it will help with the cravings.
Vitamins taken.
