DANG!!! it's slower than molasses in January in this camp!!!  Not that I've ever SEEN molasses in January - that's just what they say when shyt is slow - I ain't the outdoorsy type so I'll be dayumed if I'm the mofo to tap a tree for some pancake syrup........ LOL!

anyway - I'm about to mix up some salmon for croquettes and then organize my fridge - need to clear out some stuff.  I may do a rack of baby back ribs - I've found that using Buffalo Wild Wings sauces is the bomb!  I did skinless boneless chicken breasts last week with the Asian Zing sauce and caramelized onions.... WOW!!!  Made a lil brown rice w/green peas in it..... AWWWW yea baby!!!!

So...... what are YOU cooking today?????  Remember - failure to plan is planning to fail - we all know we work best when we already know what's for dinner!!!!!

have a great Sunday BAF

Happy Mother's Day MM!!! You are good gurl....I cooked yesterday...so unless...my mom lets me take her out to  Dinner...leftovers is all that happening in my neck of the woods! The Buffalo Sauce on the ribs is a very good idea....have to try that one day. Try to take it easy today!

Edit: Mom, the kids and I had a Iovely dinner.

Hey MM & Happy Mothers Day to you and all moms on this forum!

Not cooking today at least not this morning, my daughter and I are going out for brunch around 11:30am,  I may do some ribs as well for dinner tmrw and I actually have some wing sauce I may use on them - thanks for the suggestion - also have some leftover rotisserie chicken that I am going to cut up for salads and possibly a stir-fry for next week.    Hope everyone has a great day!

Keeping it simple.  I've got a funeral today and I hate funerals.

You know the spread folks put out.  I will eyeball it and stick to the lean protein if I can't dissapear right after church.  My MO is drop food off before service, get to the church on my own, hold back to the end and drive the other way as folks head to the cemetary.

As for cooking, broiled chicken liver and onions.  Not a renown favorite but I love it and I need the iron.  Best, its quick and easy.

Have a good one all.

First of all, Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers here. Second, since I am not quite two weeks post op, can't eat anything yet.  But I did find some dry soup powder, so that is what I will be having tonight.  Now not everyone in the house is gastric bypassed, so this is what I cooked this weekend.

Yesterday:
London Broil stir-fry with veggies

Today:

Chicken and Sausage Jambayala

The jambayala should last for a few days for the wife and kids.

went out to dinner with my mom and sister for mothers day celebration. Ate at Red Osier.  Had 1/2 of a petite prime rib, and 1/2 of a crab cake.  Eating the other halves for lunch today.
