I hear ya. Once the media starts draggin' up old **** about his past, his prior troubles with the law, prior drug use, and other misc. bull-ish, then it's a wrap.
Guilty as suspected; no proof necessary.

This story is has a lot of holes in it to me. I was just reading about this on msn, and the following paragraphs stood out to me....
Police said the girl was reported missing by her family in March and had been staying with a 36-year-old parolee, Rasheed Davis, in the Bronx for a few weeks. Early Thursday morning, Davis beat her up, drove her to the hotel and told her she had to have sex with Taylor, police said. When she refused, Davis handed her over to Taylor, who sexually assaulted her, they said. Taylor paid her $300, which she gave to Davis, police said.
Davis "struck the young girl with his fist, kicked her and brought her to the Holiday Inn against her will,'' NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said. On the way back from Suffern, the girl sent text messages to her uncle spelling out what had happened, Browne said. The uncle then went to the NYPD, he said.
So, did the girl run away or was she missing? And why was she staying with a 36 year old man, and how did she know him, and if she sent her uncle a text message, why had she not contacted her family before this incident. Lastly, did they find her DNA in his room?
These are just some of my random thoughts and questions; I get so tired of the media putting half-truths out there, and ruining people's lives... especially black people. Now I will get off my soapbox, and get back to work.

I'm sure that I'll be blasted for this, but this story has many, many holes in it. Make no mistake, I think he had sex with her. I also think she was a prostitute and the man she was living with was her pimp. I also don't think that this NFL guy was her first John, so why aren't they going after all the men who came (literally and figuratively) before him. Yes, our kids need to be protected, but I'm calling a spade a spade.

I don't think there is a need to blast anyone up in here. Really and truly I think the moral of this story is that people need to wise the fugg up. Regardless of whether she is a prostitute or not....if she's underage.....hes going up the river....or he betta rake together some food stamps or sumtin sumtin to pay her off if its a con. Yes...it just seems that folks keep falling into these same ole traps...especially folks that have a little money or are "thought" to have a little money. You know "they" are not going to be worried about the other so called Johns! They want to make yet another example of a so called high society ninja....but who would be to blame....he put himself in this predicament if in fact he is guilty.
Now....back to the prostitution......many are forced and manipulated into service by a bunch of lazy arse greedy no conscious having muthafuggas...so I have to consider them victims too in cases such as this one even if they are playing a part in a con.
