good info Ang. i did mine several years back and it was truly intriguing! i found out my great-great grandfather was in the civil war (losing side) with his owner (high ranking official), who was mentioned in many civil war books! i'll check out the free site, b/c ancestry.com cost $...;)

...i'm definitely going to check this out ang. i'm more interested in geneology these days...especially since finding out last year that my great, great, grandmother was the first african american woman in the country to have a doctor of dental surgery degree...(graduated from the university of michigan in......"1890"...
