So, it's official Halle has made a statement based on Entertainment Tonight, based on her words, "He was not pulling his weight in the relationship" and their relationship has been over for months"...What was SHE thinking? Duh...he is almost 10 years younger, NO REAL career, so she had a toy boy and eye candy....I am SURE they were going in different directions ...she is in her 40s and thinking about raising a baby and more settled down and this young guy is still in his early 30s chasing at women's skirt tails....but that eye candy apparently turned sour....I don't think nothing is wrong with Halle, she is prolly a ***** in REAL life just like most women and probably put on a nice girl front in the beginning probably thinking oh...he will get a better job and make more money...
I agree, having a good looking man/women ONLY goes so far, you get tired of looking at those faces day in and day out -- just like a ugly mug..LMAO, especially if you are the bread winner and they are not helping out financially.....I think Halle's problem is that she keeps PICKING the wrong type of men, she seems to not pick the "family type of man" for a husband; she keeps picking these models, singers and for god sake athletes where the average life span of a marriage is about 2 years...as they say you can do bad all by yourself...
Just my 2 cents....have a great night

Most people I know within ten years of my age have been married or in a serious live in relationship at least twice. We all like Ms Halle select people within our own circles. Often he starts out right, then evolves into something different.
Relationships are sadly dispoable. We are not that generation that sticks with it no matter what. Celebrity or not, half of all relationships are doomed to failure at the start. Hell, I'm no better than she is looking for DH3, lol. Hopefully both our next DH's will be the right one.
I am with you @ as they say you can do bad all by yourself
He probably talked a good game of ambition at the start, then settled in to become a kept man.

I agree, MOST people have been married once or twice or been in several relationships, but I have many friends that I grew up with are STILL married to the same guy...I've been married twice and *I* left BOTH husbands, the first husband I was really too young he was 21 and I was 20..lol and we went in different directions, and the second husband we were married 12 years, he was Egyptian and he WANTED kids, I had lost 3 babies in that marriage and it took a toll on me, I even gained 100 pounds during that marriage too, we had cultural differences and I wanted OUT.....so yes relationships ARE disposable,
This is why being in my late 40s I want to make SURE I am making the right decision when I marry my finance in a few months, I want to make sure that we are on the same page, mentally and financially, and we DO have so mu*****ommon the only difference is skin color; my ex husbands and I had NOTHING in COMMON we did not really like to do things together, the only things we had in common was sex which was good, but you do have to get out of bed sometimes....and I REFUSE to marry another man that we can't travel together, picnic together, pray together, vacation together, I don't get embarrassed if he can't communicate in public, CAN PAY my BILLS and the mortgage if NEED BE....sex is only a small equation in a relationship and I think that is where most people go wrong they are basing the ENTIRE relationship on JUST SEX.....

I don't know about the sex part....that's a major thing in a relationship - not THE thing, but major.......
I've always believed that......
good sex will see you through bad times in a relationship better than a good relationship will see you through times of bad sex........
*the preceding words of wisdom have been brought to you by #1 Mack - encouraging you to slap it up, flip it and rub it down......*

Who says good sex is not part of the relationship? GREAT KISSING and a GREAT "F@#^&" WILL KEEP me in a relationship..HOWEVER....if everything ELSE is not on point HE HAS TO GO....*I* can't live on sex alone.......it does not pay bills, buy me cute things or spoil me
Ok - I was gonna hold my peace on this one, but that's so un-characteristic of me......

Did you flip a couple pages back or forward to come to this conclusion? In the last episode, we saw our 'girl wonder' (aka you) grappling with whether to go with Mr. Holla Dolla or stay with the current honey. Holla Dolla was flossin the ride and wavin the cash - so you were 'torn'.........
now we marrying in a few months? Did you at least test drive Holla Dolla? Credit check him? I just can't buy that after a lil soul searchin, you decided to keep it tried and true....... Ionknow, sherlock, but methinks thou hast steppith on the grass across the fence just to validate the color.........
If this offends or ****** you off, please refrain from calling me a bytch in your reply, please. I prefer azzhole.

Hold up Mack.....I can't drive two cars at once...I don't roll that way...and to answer your question Holla Dolla did not get past a free luncheon at work.....but again you know how we women sometimes get confused when it''s time to go to the alter....it's called cold feet, but again, I made my final decision and I am marrying the love of my life....
We women? You speakin French? LOL!!!! I ain't one of y'all - no alter in my future unless I date a vodoo priest and have to kill a chicken......
As far as driving two cars at once.... well.... nobody said at the same time - but scheduled shifts have been known to work out.........
More power to you - hope things work out - but if you wig out at the last min, from what you said about homie - you might wanna watch out before CSI has to ID your hair out of a bar-b-que pit.........................
just sayin
