what has HAPPENED to the board???
i see more of y'all's faces up in facebook that over here.
i see mack is still mackin', lesiab b's in a pickle, and a few tohers...
but where's cookie? where's ro?
the rest of you sunny faces i see on FB, thank goodness, so i keep up there.
but dang!
if anyone's interested, i'm doing really well.
down to 2 meds from 13, down to 174 from 296.
found a better job (no more big red V), found a wonderful man,
and am enjoying watching my children grow into beautiful, dynamic people.
yes, i am the eternal optimist, but yep - things are great!
just wanted to duck my head in to say hi, wake the dead and stuff.
to all you lurkers who know me, HI!
the ones that don't, HI anyway - heeheehee...

you were my support system when i had nothing.
i will never forget that.

What had happened was.....
BAF decided to put share buttons on the board and most of us didn't want it to be so easy for someone to just click a button and have our business posted all on facebook. So most people put their profiles on lockdown and changed their avatar and screen names. But for the most part people just stopped posting and went over to facebook.
It's sad, but there are a very few of us oldies over here trying to hold it down for when someone comes back, and for the newbies who need encouragment and advice.
The board had gotten so dead that a thread would be 3 -4 days old and still be on the front page, that **** ain't usual for BAF. But it seems to be a small resurgance of oldies coming back popping in from time to time which is encouraging.
We still here, just In Cog Negro.

i am doing really well. the complete overhaul of my health picture has
done a complete makeover of my outlook on life.
i no longer put up with the bs - not like i ever really did...
new man, new job, great kids, sweet little doggy, car's paid for, student loan's paid up
i'm getting older, better, wiser, stronger..
