LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
Food was on point until I had dinner out and fell for that damned bread. Still, it was my only carb of the day so net carbs were under 40g, Other than that, lean meat and protein powder only. I was overboard on the liquids which will come back to bite me but I stayed away from the caffine and the sodium.
I'm going to try and stay off the scale until this edems goes away but it just keeps calling me...
All that being said I return to work tomorrow after 6 weeks of sick leave. I will have to ignore the bagels, donuts, downtown eateries and all of the temptations always lurking around the office. I Need to plan my breakfast and lunches for the week today . I think I'm going to buy a 2nd magic bullet blender to leave at work so that I can have a protein shake for lunch some days.
My goal is to continue low carb eating and to keep the "sick" weight off :) 19 lbs. from my 130 lb personal goal. my ultimate goal is 125lbs
Change is a Process Not an Event
I am low carbing and watching my sodium intake for the next three days to see if there will be any significant changes in my weight. I did not live up to my expectations for the month of April It took me a year to break the cycle of onederland and twoterville. It has been almost eight months since I broke into the 180's and keep going back into the low 190's. I know it is going to take a much greater effort on my part to break this cycle because the closer you get to goal the harder it becomes.
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
@ the closer you get to goal the harder it becomes
That is God's honest truth! But, you will get there because
1. You know what's stopping your progress.
2. You never want to go back to where you were.
3. You'd rather not have Ms #1MM have to 'explain it to you', .
Glad you're back on the program girl!
I also found my new guilty Friday night pleasure - there's a cajun resturant by my job, all their food is off the chain - I had oysters esplanade - it's an oyster and a popcorn size shrimp wrapped in bacon and deep fried...... yes - i know - ridiculous!!!!! Comes with a butter dipping sauce, but I choose to cut back and just use regular ****tail sauce to save on calories......
anyway - got up this morning and did my kettlebell thing from the book I got this weekend - NICE!!! I'll be doing cardio only in the gym tomorrow morning. The kettlebell routine is MWF, so TTh will be cardio for me for this week.
Still struggling with water - about to get my azz up and get a glass right now!!!!
You will be swing'n those ketttle bells and working that cardio for real! I'm just glad we know what we have to do when we want to indulge.

Summer is coming real fast, i'm hoping I can be down a cloths size before it hits, but I guess that would mean I would have to lose some weight. Oh bother.......
