LV'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
I'm eating the right foods but my appetite is out of control and my exercise is not yet back on track. Real bad combination. I may have to do liquids for a few days to tame this monster.
Yesterday protein powder, protein bars, lean meat, pork skins . I made a mistake and had vegetable soup, lite, low sodium forgetting this is a carb food not a protein food. Fortunately it was all veg, no potato, rice, or macaroni. Carrots and corn were the worst of it and it did have a lot of beans. I got my quart of water in, stayed off the caffine and sodium was limited to the pork skins.
Today, same plan minus the soup. Protein powder, lean meat, a protein bar. Maybe some pork skins. Still trying to get back to speed with my work outs.

my appetite is out of control You and I are in the same boat. Although I have been hitting the track lately but the scale seems to be going in the other direction. Yeah I know about the muscle gain weighs more but right now I'm not happy about the numbers on the dang scale. So Ima stay off the scale and not weight myself for a week or two and see what happens. I also need to start tracking my food intake which I have slacked off of.

I had the most country azz dinner last night - fried spam and grits - but dayum it was GUUUDD!! lol I just had a 'hankerin' for it.
Still doing well with vitamins and whatnot - need to get more sleep, I've been draggin azz lately - I might just put everything in neutral starting Sat night and chill thru Sunday. We will see!!!

I woke up feeling like a freaking water balloon. I have fluid in my arms, legs, and my face. My legs are tight and tingly, man I hate this adema ****
I am probably up about 8 dam pounds and tomorrow is Saturday, oh well that is what happens sometimes, well all the time for me. But I am just knowing that it will pass and my pants won't be so tight in a few days.

That edema is a ***** on wheels. That's why I cook salt free and watch the sodium.
I'm retaining too but not as bad as it could be considering. I've flown a few times over the past few weeks and I'm pumped full of steroids. No kankles thankfully and I'm not shaped like winnie the pooh for once.
Do you take a diuretic regularly? Do you limit your fluid intake? One doc told me to keep the water at 64-80 oz instead of 100 oz per my surgeon. It makes a big difference. I pass 90 oz and I blow up.
