Had surgery ....late posting

Whats up people. I just stopped by to tell everyone that I had surgery on April 13th. I recieved a Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy and had a few problem after the proceedure. I was in a lot of pain and had extreme fatigue and really couldnt sit atthe PC to notify my BAF family of all of the new events. Anyways I wanted to thank all of you on this board for your support and concern. I honestly do not think I could have ever made this descion to have surgery without all of the information that i recieved from you all over the last few months. Being a newbie isnt easy as you all know and I have to admit that many of you shared very personal aspects of your journey that truly helped me gain the courage to take the same journey myself. I am a 2 week post op newbie now and have lost 33lbs to date. I look foward to the rest of this journey but I could not do so with out thanking you all who welcomed me in the beginning and shared so much of yourselves with me. Thanks again and continued sucesses to you all !!

SO glad to hear that everything is okay!  Sounds like you had a few bumps - but that 33lbs says SOMETHING is going right.

Thanks for stopping by . Yes I am healing and I am taking things very slow for now. I am definatly gonna take your advice with the heating pad. I am trying to lay of the pain meds  by any means....thanks for the tip sweety:)
