One Year Ago Today,,,,,,,,,
......what the F*$&$^%K was I thinking?
..going through all that Pre Op Bullshyt!
...all those meetings with the shrink, making sure he don't knock me out and rub my booty (I think he used to be a Catholic Preist)
....finding out about OH/BAF and meeting madd cool people, but also reading all the drama and backline ish.
But oh, Oh what a difference a year make. One year ago today, I woke up and 4am, drove down to United Hospital in St. Paul, MN. I walked in as a Fat (but still sexy dammit) 38 year old 410 pound man.
2 days later, I walk out a Fat(but still sexy dammit) 38 year old 400 pound man with 5 holes in his stomach, but with a new lease on life.
This year has has it's ups and downs, but through all the highs and lows, I would not trade it in for anything. I've had personal set backs and triumphs, but I'm still here alive and breathing..
..not to mention able to buy things at non Big and Tall stores. LOL
Ok, yes Tony Toni Tone woke me up singing "Do you know what today is?"

Here's some of the highs and lows that my ongoing journey has taken me so far.
* Less then a month out, I tried Chicken at Gates BBQ in Kansas City....at 1am. Bad Ideal
* Once I looked down and could actually see my window controls on my car door. My hips use to be in that spot!
* A couple months ago I tried to be a gangsta and eat a Honey Bun (some of you remember my Text I sent you that night?)
* I've picked up a great fondness for Yogurt for some reason. I swear it taste almost as good as P....naw I'm trippin'
* Chinese Food
* Any kind of startch
* I had a pair of "Ambition" Jeans in my closet for years. I ended up wearing them twice and then donated them because they were too big!
* I was in the shower one day and looked down, I saw my "lil Juice" and my feet at the same time. GAWD IS GOOD! (preach preacha!)
* The Cowboys, Giants, and Redskins.... I know, not WLS related, but this is MY PARTY Dammit!
* Sad part is my family is Philly has yet to see the new me, but it will happen soon.
* Celebrated in Miami Beach(with my shirt OFF) after my team won the National Championship! I didn't hear about any beached whale report so I was thankful.
Ok, that's all I got...I got shyt to do today! LOL
I wanted to thank all of you for your love and support before and after 4/28/09. I've gained some life long friends and I appreciate all of you!! Yeah I know I don't pop in much, but I hope that will change. I have not forgot about you guys and you've been more help to me than anyone that I see on the daily.
