As I sit here and gag on this protein shake, I am trying to stay in the fight.  I did some damage this weekend with the treats that I had.  I am refusing to get on the scale until Friday morning.  I am about to go get my water bottle and try to get started on it. I am on full Atkins induction phase at least through Friday evening.  I will not let food control me this week...I will control it.

What the heyl is REALLY going on with you????  Food is a coping mechanism, a replacement for being IN life and a way to get away from it........

something's afoot and you're not telling - you don't have to - just know that I see it.

FIX IT.  or you can induction yourself into a coma and not be where you need to be.

Nothing is wrong other than I like to eat. When I go into full phase Atkins I usually have one treat day and I did. I did not over indulge in the treats.  I just don't want to weigh myself until Friday.  I normally weigh myself as much as three to four times per day.  I am trying not to be my usual scale addict self and it is hard.  I actually believe that I have lost weight because I put on my "tight" jeans and they are not tight.

Liking to eat is an addiction of sorts.  At one time, you found something to replace the 'like' you felt from eating - what was that and where did it go?

Sorry - I'm still not totally buying into you just like to eat.  Liking food is one thing, but when you eat knowing that you're doing so against your own goal - red flag for me!  heck - I have a regular date with Starbuck's choc chip cookies and twix bars (I rotate em).  But when my azz got WAY off my freaking rocker - I knew I had to get my ish together.  Can't explain it, but you still seem off center to me....just my observation.  

Heyl naw I ain't perfect and I ain't lecturing you - I don't direct grown azz women outside the bedroom.

Mack u are speaking my language. I just started OA (over eaters anonymous) this past weekend, and though I feel very silly going its worth a shot cause I find myself 'eating against my will' often...plus I know I got issues anyway........

But I digress..
Protien, 96oz plain water, and vits on point
Protien shakes only  for breakfast and lunch
I am going to eat turkey breast caluiflower and broccoli stir fry 2night. with my mind focused on portion contol
protien shake 2night 4 l8tr

rest day from the gym...but extremely sore from misguided and inappropriate first time usage of the free weights after my cardio yesterday. A sister needs 2 do some more research b4 I break somethin. Will be googleing 'free weight routines 4 beginners ' 2night to be prepared 4 tomorrow's workout.

Great book, all levels, pace yourself with weight you can handle.  Free weights or machine.

I have not tried to hide the fact that I am food addict.  As a matter of fact I have started many posts...My name is Faith and I am a food addict or I am in love with food.  Food is my drug of choice and I battle with it daily.  I am in no way saying that food is just like drugs but IMO it comes awful close.  I know my limits but sometimes I push them anyway.

Food is like drugs for some of us.  Brain research shows the same reaction in a food addict as in a drug addict or an alcoholic. 

Some of us just love to eat because we get that food high like a crackhead on the pipe.  We over eat for different reasons.  For food addicts its chemical just as it is for other types of addicts. 

Science is just begining to identify and understand the differences between various types of over eaters.

Thankfully induction works well for you.   Protein powders can suck but do what you have to!
