Okay, wow, I'm out of lurk mode again....can't beleive it.

Well, again I am 2 years out.  Orginally, I thought this was the worst thing I could have done due to complications encountered early on, but, I had a wonderful surgeon who did what she could to make me comfortable for the months I suffered.  To make a long story short...I could not keep anything down and ended up a feeding tube!!!  Have been complication free since...Thank the Lord!!!!

I am happy with my decision that I made, because I do know that without this surgery I would not be where I am today with my overall health and weight!!!  This is a life style change and a great one I must say.  My eating habits are great and I LOVE the gym!!!! I make sure to take my vitamins daily and I do my best to get my water in...I do have days of struggles with that one thing.

If I can offer any encouragment to any of the newbies or anyone who needs encouragment please do not hesitate to ask!!!

Thanks Pokerchips!!

You are so right, it is a mere past memory, although my daughter and I were talking the other day, and she was just saying "Wow Mom, remember how sick you were, you could not even dress yourself" and look at you now!!!!  When I think back about how ill I was...IV's in my neck and everything....it reminds you how good God is!!!!!!!

With all the struggles I've been through I cannot do anything but SUCCEED!!!!!!
