How's your blood work? I have my next set of labs in June and I'm shooting for them to be on TOP. My Vit D almost bottomed out, but I'm feeling sooooo much better since I've increased my intake to 50,000 IUs per day. I also jacked up my B12 to 6000 mcg/day from 2000 mcg/day. Biotin was at 2000 mcg/day, now I'm at 10,000 mcg/day. 

Here's a repeat....

Ask your doctor for all previous lab reports. You also want the ones before surgery. Track them on a spreadsheet. That way you will see any downward trends and know how to react.

Prior to your draw, drink a bottle of water. Your blood will flow easier and you will probably have more 9-15 vials done. Here's the list of codes and descriptions:

I'm on the 50,000 vitamin D also for 3 months.   I went to my anual bypass meeting and they are finding that most people are having low vitamin D now a days.

Do you feel any difference? I swear when I started to take my Vit D, I started to feel so much better within a week. Hope the higher dosage works for you.

My sister has low Vit D as well. I gave her my old supplements since they were not cutting it for me.

Thanks this is good info. to share with my new PCP I don't think he even knows what to do with me so I share as much info with him about WLS as I can.  My old PCP used to give me copies of every single lab report my new PCP does not do this by practice I will get the recent one from him & my surgeon.  I used to be good with reviewing my labs but have gotten lazy.  I'm still recovering from surgery so I have a little time on my hands to set up a spread sheet :)

I ain't even really reading all this mess - I took my dayum vitamins leave me alone!  and don't trick my azz next time.......if you say something - MEAN IT!!!!

I do take Omega-3s.  I use the store brand from WalMart - Nature's Valley I think.

My labs are always on point - I added the Omega's because of my exercise. 

chile, I'm way past frisky right about now - I could put a porn star to sleep!  Whoops!  TMI....... LOL!
