Hey fam! It's time to get back on it - yall been slackin!!!!
...... and that includes your truly. Will be cleaning out the fridge today and getting my azz in gear. I have to stock up on good stuff - I think I will make chicken soup.
Other than that - I'll probably get some chicken breasts and do a oven BBQ with them. Veggies will be greens and squash.
I also have strawberries and low sugar/low carb yogurt - parfaits for dessert this week - that will keep the lil carb cravin bastid at bay......LOL

Good Morning everyone. I haven't made my usual fare of chili lately so I'm going to make a pot of chili today hope my tummy can handle it.
Like MM the carb monster is trying to derail me so to tame his wrath I'm going to make a pie..... with sugar-free cheesecake pudding in a graham cracker crust and top it with some beautiful sliced strawberries.

Change is a Process Not an Event
The weather is nice and I love to cook on the grill. I have some babyback ribs out, boneless chicken thighs, and brauts. I have some potato salad, baked beans, and green beans for the family. I enjoy cooking and watching these greedy guys devour it. LOL Oh I forgot I have some fresh strawberries in the fridge.

I need to start eating more fish, (No dam gay jokes) I eat so much chicken and turkey and shrimp, but I really need to eat more fish because it's light and it's good for you, not salmon because it's not as yummy.
I'm not sure what's for supper but it will probably be turkey because that is what I go to most and I really ike. Thinking I may want some corn today also.

Lately I've been doing frozen cod and whiting fillets. Fresh is best but these have been really good and low cal. I make a seasoned batter of lc baking mix, and pasturized egg whites, then fry in shallow oil, skin side down then turn. Really good and low cal except for the oil from frying which of course adds fat. If the oil is good and hot its not greasy. Measuring the oil before and after only about a teaspoon is absorbed per portion, just 40 calories.

I don't want it fried, I usually just put it in a non stick pan that I brush a oil coating on the bottom. I don't want to even tell my body that fried foods are good cause it will remember just how good they are and want more.
Lord knows I don't even need a little bit of fried taste cause that was one of my HUGE addictions before WLS.
