Technically you're right - and the ad doesn't specifically exclude iced - but you KNOW you might run into the ONE persnickety, bytchy mofo that wants to challenge you on it.........

I hate that - I've written SEVERAL letters to corporate about things like that.

Yesterday was great!  I started low carbing and I managed to make it!  My BF and I went to Wally World this morning and got all of  the salad fixings so NO excuses.  I am sitting here sipping on water trying to get in some ounces prior to lunch.  I find myself trying to cram it in during the evening and I know it is best if it spread out over the day.  I will still say that I am tired of this journey but I don't want to hear the ouch words from my BF nor do I want MM's wrath either!

People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown

Hmmm.

Salads are great and all - what protein are you eating these days?  I've gone to rotisserie/BBQ chicken with my salads or veggies as my meals - simple, but effective.

As for the water - I can't really call you out - I guzzled three 16 oz bottles last night in one hour and STILL had dry mouth - my azz is in need of hydration for REAL!

I have meat in my salad or on the side too.  Yesterday I had the grilled chicken strips in my salad at lunch and I fixed pork chops to go with my salad last night.  I use the John Soules Food chicken strip and beef fajita meats because they are convenient especially at work.

I discovered John Soules on my pre op diet.  So convenient.  Its rare to find beef strips that are tender and taste seasoned not just salty.

yesterday was cool. I stuck with my plan mostly. My last snack of the day I did have two tbl spoons of peanut butter instead of one, and i ate apples instead of carrots..lol. each day is a struggle, but i just push myself to do what is right. There is no magic in the weigh loss journey, but hard work, sacrafice, and dedication. I am learning each day it is a very mental process. I did get in my 3 miles yesterday, i drank my water and my cal and protein were on point. It just seems like the scale is not working..lol. But I know the scale does not always tell you the inches lost, so I am still going strong. I have two more days to exercise. I like to take a break on the weekends, but now I am thinking I might need to do a little something on those days to boost my morale.

Progress not perfection.  You're hanging in there and that's what matters.  An extra half hour of exercise adds up over time.  Doing a little something on the weekend is a good idea.  Make it fun if you can.
