Grateful
Since having this surgery I've had many moments that I was thankful for being fortunate enough to have good insurance and the right mind to make a sound decision to save my life.
But today I had to post one of my many reasons for gratitude. I had an appt. with my PCP and they did the normal, height, weight, temperature but I took notice when she took my pressure because a little over a year ago when I would have my pressure checked they would have to go and get the BIG CUFF.
But now, even though I haven't reached goal the regular cuff fits with room to spare
.

Honeymoon Challenge!
I'm BITTER, but I am also GREATFUL. 
I may not be where I want to be but I am soooooo far from where I was. My bp is far better and happily a regular size cuff too. The health benefits are slow in comming, but they are comming. It feels good to see a normal sized person in the mirror.
