This week I'm going back to the basics.  I'm done flattering myself thinking these couple of pounds I gained is muscle.  I've enjoyed being below goal for some time.  Well, a few days ago, I hit goal of 187.  It's my goal but I like maintaining that 3-5 lbs cushion.  And I know why I've gotten there.  It's them dag on sweets.

So, I'm going back to basics.  Protein first then complex carbs, then the bull sh*t!  Started out with bacon and protein coffee this morning.  Having chicken and maybe greenbeens tonight and tuna fish for lunch.

I'm also increasing my cardio.  I was doing 30 minutes on the tread mill 3 times per week.  Then slipped back to 20 minutes.  Well, now I don't even breathe hard with that any more, so apparently that is becoming inaffective.  Started the 30 minute routine at this morning's workout.

I got my marching orders.   I know what I need to do. Ima Rock It!!!!

What's off is pretty clear if we pay attention.  Hold on to that cushion.

I am so pissed off this morning because I am 7.8 pounds up.  So, during my fkcuing honeymoon period I have managed to loose under ten pounds in the seven and a half months since my six month follow up visit.  I only had 28 left to loose.  I should have lost a pound this week alone with just one short cardio work out.

I'm beginning to understand anorexics and bulemics.  Too bad I have zero gag reflex and I hate being hungry.  I'm clueless.

I will get all vitamins in.

I will drink over 100oz of water.

Still shooting for 60+ grams each day.

Still working on getting in more good carbs to stop the weight loss.

No morning workout for me. I'm taking Carafate now and I'm feeling really "bloatilicious" and my midsection is getting stiff from the side effects. I plan to take the dog out to the trail later today.

Carafate, ouch.  I've needed nsaids this week and taking acid reducers with it praying no uncers please.  Could the uncers cause your continued weight loss?

Crazy bad but I'm tempted ...   I'd kill to just keep loosing, to loose at all... even in a bad way right now.

I was given the Carafate when I was placed on steroids earlier in the year for an upper respiratory infection. I was on the steroids for two weeks...I think. I'm still taking the Carafate to avoid ANY chance of developing one.  I do get the occasional sharp pain in my side, but I suffer from diverticulosis so there I think the problem lies.

Appetite and weight loss are other symptoms. Persons with duodenal ulcers may experience weight gain because the persons eats more to ease discomfort. Recurrent vomiting, black stool, blood in the stool and anemia are other symptoms.

I've never had any of these problems since surgery. My PCP has also ruled it out, but given my pre-op history of ulcers he refilled my script for me.

I go in for my 18 month post-op surgical visit in June. I'll have my insurance by then so I will be checked out from the rooty to the tooty.

You don't want an ulcer. That shiott can kill you.

My weight loss is (crossing my fingers) tapering off. I weighed myself this morning. The scale has been saying the same thing for the last several weeks - I was in denial that I was at THAT weight. But I'm still healthy and my energy levels are great.

I've heard diverticulosis is a ***** on wheels.  My dad had ulcers, drank a lot of maloxx.  I never noticed until now that once his ulcers were repaired he lost weight.  He must have been eating more because of them.

I take no ulcer meds but I'm a heavy steroid user.  No impact on my digestive system except for hunger but I've been fighting that for seven years now.  I was worried about nsaids and ulcers but I had no idea steroids could cause ulcers too.  I must keep an eye on that.

Glad things are stableizing.  There is nothing better than being healthy.

I'm done spewing for the moment.  I need multies still but I should be able to drive today.  Hopefully.  I took other supps and had plenty of plain water and other liquids.
Calories 1330/ protein 173g/ net carbs 44g/ fat 49g.  On track for a one pound fat loss but we know reality for the week.

I have no idea what to do at this point.  I've tried the sane and I'm headed for the insane.  I ain't telling the insane cause some of you may be as big a fool as I am and try some **** that messes you up.  No, find your own insanity.
