This is a No Mercy and No Excuses post in the words of our beloved Ms Kim .
I was marginal two days out of seven and outrageous three days out of seven. The remaining two days were also above my average in total calories. In addition, I got half the exercise I had planned.
I spent the weekend eating foods with no nutritional value, high carbs, calories, and fat. I've been very naughty but I'm not complaining either. I'm declaring Friday to Sunday a weekend off. Back on point time.
Nevertheless, I have an overall calorie deficit minute as it may be, under half a pound calculated. I haven't weighed in yet but considering I can gain weight when the calculations say I should loose a couple pounds in a week, I won't hold my breath waiting for this fraction of a pound to show on the scale.
Calories 2640/ protein 41g/ net carb 244g/ fat 155g. No typos folks, this rivals anyone pre op. I ate only junk food and one small deep fried meal. I'm telling the whole truth and being accountable. Ready for my ass whippin now.
I'm shooting for a one and a half to two pound calorie deficit this week. How much exercise I get will be the deciding factor. Net carbs below 50g, protein 100g plus, no specific goal for fats but no fried foods on the menu.

I will be in Vegas for the next week and i'm not taking my laptop so I may not sign on but know i'm here with you fighting the battle, but I don't know how much fighting I will be doing this week in Vegas, I won't lie.
Have a great week and keep fighting, even though we seem to fail over and over and can't seem to find the key to unlock our mystery I am hoping and praying that one day we will.

I'm at the point where I just make sure I meticulously track my deficit. Then it is impossible for anyone to b/s that I eat more than I think. Fingers crossed, I'm starting back on thyroid meds.
I'm swamped this week but next week its research mode. I will figure this out even if it means self medicating. I came accross an interesting book this wekend on thyroid and metabolism. Its not new, but it has given me some ideas. I'll keep you posted.

Okay so maybe the challenge for the water I set for myself was a bit much! I don't believe I drank more than 48 ounces of "plain" water over the weekend. I think I should modify my challenge to drinking 64 ounces during the weekdays or just 5 days per week. I have to tighen up or I will get out of control. I have been physically drained these last three months. I need to find a fast remedy for dark circles underneath my eyes. Do you or does anyone have a remedy for this? I will resume the assistance today and I know that I will be up half the night.

You're up half the night and I doze off during the day, lol. If only we could trade a bit for some balance. Pass that dark circle remedy this way when you find it.
Plain water is a killer theses days for me too. I've taken #1MM's sweet (splenda) tea idea. I brew enough for the day. I'm working my way back to a quart of plain water by swallowing my vits/ meds with water only.

Cranked out my cardio session early than a mudd this morning. Even took the vitamins early.
Ate like crap this past weekend. Working on it.
Had my morning 4 scrips bacon, few tbl spoons grits and coffee. Bout to crack open my protein bar in a few.
All is kosher at the moment.

Didnt' do to bad this weekend but didn't exercise either. Today I have had @ 5:30am bacon and egg with 1/2 slice of whole wheat toast. Now I'm drink a protein hot cocoa @ 8:30 am and will take vitamins in a few. Then a protein smoothie before lunch so I don't over induldge. Plan of hitting the track after work before class tonight. That's all for now.
