Easter Sunday dinner - I KNOW y'all bringin it!

Hey BAF!  I know yall bringin it this Sunday - no way you can get around Easter Sunday dinner - you been a bunch of lazy no cookin azz mofos lately!!! LMAO

I'm going to my mom's - she's cooking - so I don't have to!   hehehhehehehhe

I'm not cooking today either lol - guess i'm a lazy mofo lol lol - we are actually going out for dinner this afternoon because neither my mom or myself felt like cooking this year - we are still recovering from the holidays back to back lol.  I had asked her a few wks ago did she feel like doing it big again this year and she immediately said no before I could get my question out lol lol - We are both burnt out so we are going to do Ruby Tuesday or Cracker Barrel.  Anyways have a great Sunday everybody!

Happy Easter!!!

No cooking for me today. We're in the car right now (near Louiseville, KY) coming from Nashville. By the time we get back to northern Illinois, I'll be ready for the bed.

But....

I will be making up for it tomorrow by cooking some ribs, greens, sweet potatos, cornbread and potato salad for dinner. We can eat off that for the next couple days.

    Well DAMN, not even my imaginary Sunday dinner on Easter Sunday of all Sundays!!!  

You already know I'm not cooking.   This thread is my Sunday dinner most weeks.  

I'm having culinary challenges lately so I've beeen eating take out.  I hit the gas station this morning and took out some chips, crackers, oreos, and cashews.  I'm fed for the day!   

Girl...I haven't cooked ANYTHING!!! Oh, by the way, I didn't even go to church today!!!

I want something to eat, but not sure what...I've been at home cleaning and doing laundry...he arrives here Tuesday morning...for our 'gathering' on Saturday! Thank God for mommas - Mine is in heaven...cooking! **smiles**

Well I'll be da@@@@!!! Nobody but me cooked today? Well here's my menu for today:  prime rib, honey glazed ham, greens w\smoked turkey necks, black-eyed peas, potatoe salad, devilled eggs, 4cheese mac & cheese, green beans, and whipping cream pound cake for dessert. Needless to say I'm through for the rest of the week! My DH will have to eat leftovers until it's all gone, then it'll be sandwiches!!!!


Pre-Op Diet  -12lbs

Gone are the days of my childhood Easter: pretty pink dress,white lace gloves, plastic shoes and matching bag, my fat ass Easter basket where I would sneak a candy out every week till Easter Day. Coming home to a baked ham, oxtails, rice n peas, mac n cheese, salad, sorrell, etc.

I'll have some sorrell with a shot of Old Oak.  After my oxtail, rice and peas, and some of that pelau below, lol.
