It was a planned no workout day and turned out to be a high cal, high carb day as well leaving me a calorie deficit of just 50 for the day.  Better than a surplus, but not by much. 

I was way off on the liquids, just a quart to a quart and a half all day.  I don't drink and fly      .   All vits taken for the day. 

Calories 1618/   protein 103g/   net carbs 172g/   fat 51g

Taco bell and a steak quesadilla did most of the damage and drove the calories up.  I had a high carb day planned as find a can of pingles light to be the perfect travel food.  I've got to burn off some of those added carbs today.

Dangit!!  Week already starting out f*cked up.  Posed to hit the gym last night; son had practice, so didn't make it to the gym.  Said I would go early this morn; didn't happen.  Feeling like crap about it.  Hate missing the gym, but find myself making exscuses for not going.  Don't want that to develop into a habit.  I could have gone last night.  Would have been only about an hour and a half later than usual.  Nippin it in the bud.

Anyway, off early today for my one year check up.  Hitting the gym after that before practice tonight. Two workouts behind for the week; will catch up today.

We both have a day to make up.  I know I do not feel like it today but I will run and get my strength doen too.  Stay motivated!

Hi guys,
Typically I don't post here but read it everyday.  But I got issues and need some help.  Bad habits are back if full effect and I'm trying to get things under control.  i had surgery August  25th of "09" I've lost 112 to date.  That's the good.  The bad I can eat I don't dump I can tolerate everything.  I know I can eat quite a bit depending on what I'm eating.  On the other boards I see posts with people eating under 1000 calories a day.  Yeah right I get hungry and my calories range from 1200 to 1600 which was my all time high.  Weight loss has slowed quite a bit.  I'm a food addict I get it but it's a pain in the a$$ to beat this addiction.  I typically eat 5-6 meals daily today I cut out my morning snack and ate breakfast later then usual that seems to be working ok.  This is what I ate yesterday

Sorry it's so big didn't know how to size it down.  I have a Go Wear Fit my calorie burn for yesterday was 2265.  I work out on average 3 to 4 days a week on average.  I don't know am I eating to much is my calorie range ok.?  Maybe I'm just trippin!  But I'm fighting hard not to go back to fat.  Need encouragement, a good kick in the butt, some love whatever.  Thanks for listening.

We don't pay for space so size does not matter here, lol. 

I admit I am no good with analyzing anyone's meal plan.  Ignore the folks eating very low calories.  Given your progress you don't need to eat so little to loose.  You had really quick wl the first seven months.  Better than average.  It has to slow down at some point. 

I look at calorie deficit to ensure that I'm eating in a range for weight loss.  It looks like you are.  Make sure you keep a calorie deficit and you will loose.  Albeit more slowly, eventually the rest will come off. 
You may have to shake things up a bit.  Change your diet and exercise program.  Maybe higher protein, lower carbs, different cardio, more strength work... whatever is right for you.  It may take some research. 

The body gets used to a certain level of nutrition and activity.  The closer to goal the harder it gets for some of us.  Weight loss will slow over time.   Check out the link to the wagon plan.  It has worked for many long time veteran BAFers. 

I've lost only 16 lbs since August and everyone knows what I've been doing so its not for lack of dedication.  This last 28 lbs I've been working on since my six month follow up is even harder to loose than the first fifty that took 135 days to loose.   I started as a slow looser and its gotten even slower. 

Like me you have to keep at it.  Keep tracking.  Keep experimenting and see what's new that works for you.  You will do this.

I haven't weighed since last Friday.  I don't think I have gained anything.  I will find out Friday morning.   The election is over and I did win!!!!!   Now, I must refocus my attention on my WLS journey.  My BF and I will resume our walking habit we had acquired last year.  I wish that I could stay away from the bad carbs...they are the .

CONGRATULATIONS!!!   Best wishes on this incredible venture into politics.  With this being a census year I hope you can do a lot with the data for the benefit of our own communities.  Sadly still, if we do not hold the seat of power our people are neglected. 

Now back to walking AWAY from the carbs, lol.

Thanks M! The US Census is one of my short term platforms.  I am really pushing for any and everyone to make sure they complete and return the form.  I have been telling people "If someone owed you money wouldn't you want it...complete the form so we can get our share of $400 billion in federal funding and adequate representation in elected seats for our state."  WE CAN'T MOVE FORWARD UNTIL YOU MAIL IT BACK!
